Scaffolding labourer wanted in Wichita County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a scaffolding labourer in Wichita County, Kansas. You will work at a shipyard. Day to day you will read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class; plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level; fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid; inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use; lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips; fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform. What we are looking for: • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift.
