Offshore rigger wanted in Blaenau Gwent

Great opportunity: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Blaenau Gwent, Wales. The role involves set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; read lift plans and method statements before starting; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position. Ideal candidate: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles 4+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts.
