Restaurant steward • DeSoto County, Mississippi

Vacancy available: we are hiring a restaurant steward in DeSoto County, Mississippi. You will work in a coffee shop. Day-to-day duties: • Punch orders through to the kitchen as a KOT (kitchen order ticket) • Take food and drink orders on the POS terminal or order pad • Check back during the meal and handle special requests • Restock side stations with sauces, condiments and napkins • Handle guest complaints and escalate to the captain or manager • Polish glasses, cutlery and crockery during mise en place You should have: • Basic numeracy for handling cash, bills and change • Smart, well-groomed appearance and a clean uniform $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
