Ideal candidate: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Your main tasks: • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
