On a typical shift you will roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls; score the top of loaves before baking.
