Urgent requirement: we are hiring a protective coatings painter in Cameron Parish, Louisiana. On the job you will handle: • Fill cracks and nail holes with filler and caulk the gaps • Work safely from ladders, scaffolding and mobile towers • Apply primer, undercoat and two topcoats with brush and roller • Measure up and work out paint and material quantities • Strip old paint and wallpaper with scrapers and heat guns What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of surface prep and the right primers • Working-at-height / PASMA scaffold ticket an advantage • Physically fit for standing, bending and reaching all day At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
