Immediate opening: we are hiring a bread baker in Juneau City and Borough, Alaska. You will be based in a hotel pastry kitchen. You should have: • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks The role involves weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; load and unload the deck oven with a peel. We offer $5,200 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
