Civil works labourer — Stockton-on-Tees

Immediate opening: we are hiring a civil works labourer in Stockton-on-Tees, England. Requirements: • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times Day-to-day duties: • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour Six days a week, one day off.
