Domestic gas engineer — Trousdale County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Trousdale County, Tennessee. The job is in customers' homes and kitchens. The role involves thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Driving licence for travel between sites Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $5,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
