Immediate opening: precision welder (Kansas)

Now hiring: we are hiring a precision welder in Saline County, Kansas. Day-to-day duties: • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $3,500 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
