Immediate opening: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Wexford County, Michigan. You should have: • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges The role involves take site measurements of openings before fabrication; read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile; cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees; fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails; wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile; glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
