Wood machinist — Jackson County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a wood machinist in Jackson County, Mississippi. The job is on a busy construction site. On a typical shift you will finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; fix studwork and plasterboard partitions; glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together; build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions; read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists. You should have: • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings We offer $9,000 per project plus benefits. Full-time, day shift.
