Urgent requirement: steward (Louisiana)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a steward in Iberia Parish, Louisiana. The job is in a catering unit. The role involves: • Sort, dry and return clean plates and bowls to the kitchen stations • Polish glasses and cutlery and stack them ready at the pass • Top up detergent and rinse aid and check wash and sanitise temperatures • Mop the floors and wipe down kitchen surfaces and splashbacks • Clean, drain and descale the dish machine at the end of each shift • Sanitise crockery, glassware and cutlery to the required temperature Requirements: • Previous experience in a busy commercial kitchen preferred • Careful handling of cleaning chemicals and degreasers • Willing to work evenings, weekends and split shifts Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
