Join our team: we are hiring a maintenance painter in Naugatuck Valley Planning Region, Connecticut. You will be based at a property maintenance company. Requirements: • Able to read colour schedules and follow a finish spec • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolding • Sound knowledge of surface prep and the right primers Day to day you will hang lining paper and wallpaper, matching patterns at the seams; spray emulsion and enamel using HVLP and airless spray guns; apply textured and weatherproof masonry coatings to exterior walls; sand and fill walls before applying primer; measure up and work out paint and material quantities; lay down dust sheets and protect floors and furniture. 6+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $250 per day plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
