Vacancy available: shuttering and concrete hand (Ohio)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Preble County, Ohio. On a typical shift you will patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
