You should have: • Confident operating a tyre changer and wheel balancer • Awareness of workshop health and safety • Basic record-keeping and customer-facing skills The role involves: • Check tread depth with a depth gauge and spot uneven wear • Torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench • Inflate tyres to the manufacturer's recommended PSI, including nitrogen fills • Repair punctures with mushroom plugs and internal patches Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
