Now hiring: we are hiring a collision repair technician in Presque Isle County, Michigan. You will be based at an accident repair garage. You will mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour; measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line; straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains; shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer; buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections; pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder. You should have: • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports • Comfortable working with dust, noise and spray fumes Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
