Earthmoving plant operator • Agwara, Niger State

Immediate opening: we are hiring an earthmoving plant operator in Agwara, Niger State. You will be based at a road-building project. Your main tasks: • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines What we are looking for: • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
