Urgent requirement: we are hiring an automotive paint technician in Shelby County, Illinois. Requirements: • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing Day to day you will blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair; apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels; bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint; set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish; sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting; mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Part-time with flexible hours. Contact us to fix an interview.
