Vacancy available: we are hiring a tracked excavator operator in Navajo County, Arizona. The job is at a road and highway construction project. Requirements: • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones Day-to-day duties: • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers 1+ years on the tools preferred.
