Steel fixer — Midland County

Join our team: we are hiring a steel fixer in Midland County, Michigan. You will work on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. You should have: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations The role involves: • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman 3+ years on the tools preferred.
