Vacancy available: CO2 welder (Akwa Ibom State)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Ibeno, Akwa Ibom State. You will be based in a heavy engineering unit. Requirements: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes The role involves weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. ₦195,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
