Earthmoving equipment operator • Baraga County, Michigan

Vacancy available: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in Baraga County, Michigan. You will be based on a busy civils and groundworks site. Day to day you will load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient. Ideal candidate: • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
