UPVC window fabricator • Jefferson Davis Parish, Louisiana

Great opportunity: we are hiring an uPVC window fabricator in Jefferson Davis Parish, Louisiana. You will work on site fitting windows in new-build flats. Your main tasks: • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees • Fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square What we are looking for: • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres $5,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
