Powder coating technician • Yakima County, Washington

Now hiring: we are hiring a powder coating technician in Yakima County, Washington. You will be based in a busy paint shop. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes You will check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns; top up and monitor pre-treatment chemical bath concentrations; set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow; mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape; reclaim and sieve overspray powder for reuse. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $3,700 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
