Urgent requirement: we are hiring a refrigeration technician in Lauderdale County, Tennessee. The job is in a commercial cold storage facility. What we are looking for: • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds The role involves braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch; check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil; measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter; service split AC units and VRF systems; clean condenser and evaporator coils; read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges. $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
