Vacancy available: we are hiring a cement mason in Buchanan County, Missouri. You will work on a building construction site. Requirements: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours Day-to-day duties: • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing Pay around $4,100 per month, based on your experience.
