Aluminium tig welder wanted in Rankin County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Rankin County, Mississippi. You will work on an industrial construction site. On the job you will handle: • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) Ideal candidate: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
