Immediate opening: we are hiring a vehicle technician in Boone County, Illinois. Requirements: • Able to read wiring diagrams and workshop manuals • At least 2 years' hands-on experience as a car mechanic The role involves service and replace timing belts and chains; bleed the brake hydraulic lines and check pad wear; replace brake pads, discs and callipers; trace electrical faults in the starting and charging systems; estimate repair costs and order the right parts; carry out suspension and steering repairs. $26 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
