Panel welder • Kanabec County, Minnesota

We are recruiting: we are hiring a panel welder in Kanabec County, Minnesota. You will be based at an automobile body shop. The role involves bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness. Requirements: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Willing to work shifts and overtime Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
