Reinforcement fitter — Prince Edward County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Prince Edward County, Virginia. You will be based at a rebar fabrication workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions Requirements: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. We offer $3,300 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
