Great opportunity: we are hiring a cement mason in Blount County, Alabama. The role involves: • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified You should have: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
