Join our team: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Aurora County, South Dakota. You will be based at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. What we are looking for: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work Day-to-day duties: • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing Full-time, day shift.
