Immediate opening: powder coating operator (South Carolina)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a powder coating operator in Williamsburg County, South Carolina. You will be based at a powder coating unit. On a typical shift you will top up and monitor pre-treatment chemical bath concentrations; run colour changeovers and clean the booth between batches; record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness; check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns; inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches; keep parts properly earthed so the powder transfers well. You should have: • Aware of PPE, respirator and fire-safety norms • Able to operate electrostatic spray guns and curing ovens 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift.
