Safety officer — Sherburne County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a safety officer in Sherburne County, Minnesota. The job is at an oil and gas facility. Day-to-day duties: • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment You should have: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
