Flatlock machine operator • Washington Parish, Louisiana

We are recruiting: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Washington Parish, Louisiana. You will clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance. Requirements: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently 5+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts.
