Vacancy available: we are hiring a bread and bun maker in Monterey County, California. The job is at a cake shop. Your main tasks: • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel What we are looking for: • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Accurate at weighing and following recipes Six days a week, one day off.
