HGV driver wanted in Union County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a HGV driver in Union County, Oregon. You will be based on long-haul routes across the country. Your main tasks: • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Present documents at weighbridges and check posts • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits What we are looking for: • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
