Finish carpenter wanted in Saint Helena Parish

We are recruiting: we are hiring a finish carpenter in Saint Helena Parish, Louisiana. You will be based in a cabinet-making workshop. On a typical shift you will plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails; erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge. Ideal candidate: • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • Own basic hand tools Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off.
