Shuttering carpenter — City and Borough of Wakefield

Join our team: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in City and Borough of Wakefield, England. The job is on a busy high-rise construction site. The role involves: • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • De-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line What we are looking for: • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites 4+ years on the tools preferred. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
