Join our team: we are hiring an argon welder in Missaukee County, Michigan. You will be based on an industrial construction site. Requirements: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through On a typical shift you will carry out 6G pipe welds where required; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp.
