Now hiring: we are hiring a refrigeration and AC technician in Douglas County, Kansas. The role involves: • Recover the refrigerant before dismantling or relocating a unit • Evacuate the system with a vacuum pump and confirm a deep vacuum • Insulate the suction line with Armaflex nitrile sleeving • Wire the indoor-to-outdoor interconnecting cable and connect the isolator • Braze pipe joints and pressure-test with dry nitrogen for leaks • Install ducting, grilles and VRF/VRV branch boxes Requirements: • Able to handle refrigerant safely and aware of F-Gas rules • 2+ years hands-on split and cassette AC installation experience Overtime paid at a premium rate.
