We are recruiting: we are hiring a shopfront glazier in Calhoun County, Iowa. The job is in a shopfront glazing company. The role involves apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass; clean the finished glass and peel off the protective film; install mirrors, shower screens and glass balustrades; secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points; grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris; install toughened and laminated safety glass. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units • Physically fit, able to stand and lift throughout the shift 4+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts.
