Refrigeration and AC mechanic wanted in Vermilion Parish

We are recruiting: we are hiring a refrigeration and AC mechanic in Vermilion Parish, Louisiana. You will be based in an HVAC service company. Day to day you will wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays; fault-find control boards and defrost timers; trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution; read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges; braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch. You should have: • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $3,700 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
