Now hiring: we are hiring a lathe operator in Rhondda Cynon Taf, Wales. Day-to-day duties: • Change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers • Load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels • Carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station What we are looking for: • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
