Urgent requirement: production welder (Kentucky)

Join our team: we are hiring a production welder in Spencer County, Kentucky. You will work at an automobile body shop. Day-to-day duties: • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints Requirements: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances Pay around $3,100 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
