What we are looking for: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Day to day you will feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush.
