Body shop technician • Clare County, Michigan

Great opportunity: we are hiring a body shop technician in Clare County, Michigan. You will be based in a collision repair centre. On a typical shift you will shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer; measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line; strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair; pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder; mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour; MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place. Requirements: • Comfortable working with dust, noise and spray fumes • Steady hand for filler work and block sanding Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift.
