Immediate opening: we are hiring a food packing operative in New York County, New York. Ideal candidate: • Able to stand for long shifts and lift up to 25 kg • Previous experience on a packing or production line The role involves apply labels, barcodes and batch codes to each pack; seal cartons with a tape gun or hot-melt glue; weigh and portion products before bagging; strap and band pallets ready for loading; change over film rolls and reset the heat sealer; operate the filling and sealing machine on the line.
