Counter butcher wanted in Crawford County

Join our team: we are hiring a counter butcher in Crawford County, Indiana. You will work at a wholesale meat market. On the job you will handle: • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Season and marinate meat on request • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled Requirements: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
